Diverse Student Population Services Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across elementary through high school levels. Work with diverse communication disorders including phonological processes, language processing delays, social communication challenges, and voice disorders. Implement culturally responsive therapy approaches that honor student diversity and individual learning styles.
Essential Clinical Functions Perform detailed speech and language evaluations using telehealth assessment protocols validated for educational settings. Create individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based intervention strategies. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate progress records through integrated case management systems. Collaborate with educational teams to align therapeutic goals with academic objectives.
Professional Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. Valid ASHA CCC-SLP certification and current New Mexico speech-language pathology licensure essential. Two years minimum school-based experience required. Teletherapy experience strongly preferred. Technological proficiency and stable internet connection necessary for effective virtual service delivery.
