Job Description
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K–12 public school setting in Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, delivering direct and consultative therapy services, documenting student progress, and participating in IEP meetings. Collaboration with teachers, families, and other school professionals is expected to support student success.
New Mexico SLP Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Current New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates may be considered

Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the New Mexico Public Education Department and local districts

Knowledge of IDEA, FERPA, and state-specific education laws
