This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position located in Albany, OR, working onsite within a school setting. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to school-aged children, focusing on both evaluations and delivering direct and indirect interventions to support students' communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged students
- Provide individualized therapy sessions addressing speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to developing communication strategies
Qualifications:
- Active Oregon licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders within educational settings
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect speech therapy services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Schedule and Location:
- Onsite position in Albany, Oregon
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Travel assignment within the region
