Speech Language Pathologist in Ann Arbor, MI
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting located in Ann Arbor, MI. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels in enhancing their communication skills and academic success throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student performance and treatment outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State of Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or eligibility
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse student population and school staff
