Key Qualifications:
- Valid GA Professional Standards Commission (PSC) credential (new requirement)
- Active Georgia state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC required)
- Previous experience as an SLP in a school setting, working independently with children and adolescents
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Able to obtain and maintain all required credentials, including fingerprinting and drug screening prior to the start date
- Candidates with SLP-Assistant credentials are not eligible; CCC required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to middle and high school students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Work closely with school staff to deliver comprehensive communication support services
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school regulations
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
