About the Role:
This position allows flexibility to work with elementary, middle, or high school students depending on your preference and skill set. You’ll collaborate with a team of educators and specialists to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct speech and language assessments.
-
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with student IEPs.
-
Provide direct and consultative services to students and staff.
-
Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings.
Compensation & Benefits – Pay Structure Explained:
-
Weekly Pay: $2,500–$3,000 (based on experience and availability to start ASAP). The pay listed in the title reflects gross pay based on an hourly rate — your net income will vary depending on how your pay package is structured.
-
Travel Stipends: For qualifying travelers, tax-free stipends for housing, meals, and incidentals are included. These stipends increase post-tax take-home pay, often adding a minimum of $100+ per week to your income compared to a flat hourly arrangement.
-
Hourly Rate Option: If you prefer a straightforward hourly rate, your gross pay will be higher, but your overall take-home income will likely be lower compared to a stipend package.
-
In short — the number shown is gross, not net. Travelers who qualify for stipends maximize post-tax income, making this structure more lucrative.
-
Additional Benefits: Comprehensive healthcare package (medical, dental, vision, 401k), licensure support if relocating from out of state, reimbursement of onboarding fees (fingerprinting, background check, etc.), and continuous recruiter + clinical support.
Traveler Information:
To qualify for travel benefits, applicants must:
-
Live more than 40 miles from Aberdeen.
-
Maintain duplicating expenses (housing at home and near the assignment — friends’ or family housing is accepted).
ProCare Therapy offers resources, contacts, and support for housing and travel arrangements, easing relocation expenses.
Virtual Interview Process:
All interviews are conducted virtually with camera on to ensure a smooth, professional, and transparent hiring process.
Qualifications:
-
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
-
Active WA SLP license (or willingness to obtain).
-
CCC-SLP preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered.
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
