School-Based Speech Services Assistant (SLP/A) Full-Time, Onsite | Pre-K5th Grade
About the Opportunity:
ProCare Therapy is partnering with a local school district to find a committed and passionate School-Based Speech Services Assistant (SLP/A) for an onsite, full-time role for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a daily impact on the lives of students by supporting their speech and language development in an educational setting.
As a Speech Services Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct services and interventions to students in grades Pre-K through 5. Your work will help students access their education, improve communication, and build confidence in both academic and social environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and small-group speech-language therapy services to students under SLP supervision

Follow treatment plans and goals aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Accurately document and maintain data on student performance and session outcomes

Participate in IEP meetings, when appropriate, and support data collection for progress reporting

Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school personnel to integrate communication goals into the classroom setting

Help prepare and organize therapy materials as directed by the supervising SLP

Support generalization of communication skills in natural school environments (e.g., classrooms, playgrounds, lunchrooms)

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate therapy environment for young learners

Follow all federal, state, and district regulations, including confidentiality laws and school policies
Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

Current state certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLP/A)

Ability to work full-time, onsite throughout the school year

Previous experience in school settings preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Must be dependable, organized, and comfortable working with young children

Ability to take direction and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team
Position Details:

Caseload: Pre-K through 5th grade

Caseload Size: To be determined by district based on student needs

Schedule: Monday–Friday, aligned with the school district calendar

Start Date: Beginning of the 2025–2026 school year

End Date: End of the school year (with possibility of renewal)

Setting: Onsite (no teletherapy)
