Teletherapy Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position in South Dakota Schools
As a Fully Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide virtual therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds. You will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech and language disorders, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapy via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using virtual tools and standardized assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy sessions to students of all ages, including children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (must be licensed in the state(s) where services are being provided).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school or clinical setting (teletherapy experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of various speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapy techniques.
- Ability to use telehealth platforms and technology to deliver services effectively.
