Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Mississippi (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFYs considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse school-aged population
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and communicate regularly with staff and families
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Create a positive and inclusive therapy environment
- Provide services across a typical school caseload, adapting to students’ individual needs
