Job Description:
We are seeking a nationally certified and highly skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide remote interpreting services for students in educational settings. The ideal candidate will hold a valid national certification (such as RID) and have an EIPA score of 4.0 or higher. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a full benefits package.
Responsibilities:

Provide accurate, real-time interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL) in virtual educational environments

Facilitate communication between students, educators, and support staff

Adhere to professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality and impartiality

Interpret academic content, classroom discussions, and school-related activities

Maintain accurate service documentation as required
Requirements:

National certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification)

EIPA score of 4.0 or higher

Strong fluency in ASL and spoken English

Previous experience in educational interpreting preferred

Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for remote work
