Are you a certified Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) seeking a flexible, remote opportunity with a meaningful impact? We’re hiring a Travel/Remote ASL Interpreter to support students in Lincoln, Nebraska for the 2025–2026 school year!
Position Details

Location: Remote (supporting Lincoln, NE school district)

Schedule: Full-time or part-time school hours (M–F)

Start Date: August 2025

Contract Type: Travel/1099 or W2 eligible

Assignment: 1:1 and/or small group interpreting (Zoom/Google Meet)

Grade Levels: K–12 (based on need and experience)
Key Responsibilities
-
Provide high-quality video-based ASL interpretation for students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing
-
Support virtual classrooms, IEP meetings, or 1:1 instruction
-
Collaborate with educators, SPED staff, and families to meet student communication goals
Ensure all interpreting follows IDEA and FERPA standards
Requirements
-
RID Certification (or state-recognized SLI credentials)
-
Experience with educational interpreting (K–12 preferred)
-
Tech-savvy with strong video platform skills (Zoom, Meet, etc.)
