Virtual Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) – Nebraska (Remote)
We are currently hiring licensed Sign Language Interpreters (SLIs) to provide virtual interpreting services for students across the state of Nebraska. These remote roles support elementary through high school students, including those with specific IEP needs. We're looking for professionals who are experienced, dependable, and passionate about ensuring access to communication and education.
Position Details:

Full-Time Position:
-
37.5 hours per week
-
Standard school hours, Monday through Friday
-
Part-Time Position:
-
Morning hours only (approx. 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM)

10–12 hours per week
-
Tied to a special education/IEP service block
Credential Requirements:
-
EIPA score of 4.0 or higher
-
Passed the EIPA Written test
-
Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska, or willing to get licensed.
Pay Rate:
-
$42/hour, based on experience and assignment type
Additional Requirements:

Reliable internet and tech setup for high-quality video communication

Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
-
Strong time management, communication, and collaboration skills

Comfortable working independently and adhering to IEP service delivery expectations
