About the Role:
A local school district in Evans, GA is partnering with Blazer Jobs to find a dedicated and skilled Sign Language Interpreter & Teacher for the upcoming school year. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a student who is learning both English and American Sign Language. Your role will be to teach, interpret, and support the student's communication development across academic settings.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide 1:1 ASL instruction and interpretation for a student across general education settings

Collaborate with educators and school staff to ensure the student’s academic and social success
-
Support a diverse caseload, with a primary focus on one student
-
Adapt communication and instructional strategies based on student needs
-
Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in ASL, Deaf Education, or Educational Interpreting
-
Minimum EIPA score of 3.5
-
Valid Georgia State Licensure
-
Experience working with K–12 students is highly preferred
