School-Based Therapist – Full-Time – Conejo, NM
Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced School-Based Therapist for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Conejo, New Mexico. This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a lasting impact on the emotional and behavioral health of K–12 students within an inclusive, team-oriented educational environment.
Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges

Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals
-
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and outside professionals to promote student well-being and academic success
-
Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans as needed
-
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
-
Support a positive school culture through crisis response, consultation, and preventative mental health initiatives
Qualifications:
-
Active New Mexico license as a School-Based Therapist (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent)
-
Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Passion for supporting the social-emotional growth of diverse student populations
