School-Based Physical Therapist (FT) | Shelton, WA | 35 Hours/Week
Location: Shelton, WA
Job Type: Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Dates: September 2, 2025 – June 16, 2026
Hours: Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Caseload: PreK–12th grade students across multiple campuses (TBD)
Placement: Onsite only
Position Summary:
This full-time Physical Therapist position is a unique opportunity to make an impact in a school district that supports student wellness from early learning through high school graduation. You’ll serve students with a wide range of motor needs — from mobility and strength training to positioning and equipment consultation.
This is a hands-on, collaborative role that puts you at the heart of student-centered learning.
Job Duties:

Provide evaluations and direct therapy services as prescribed in IEPs

Set and document measurable, educationally relevant goals for physical development

Collaborate closely with IEP teams to support inclusion and accessibility

Offer recommendations for equipment and modifications to support student independence

Document all services accurately and punctually in accordance with district and state regulations

Manage multiple locations, adjusting schedule as needed for student needs
Required Licensure and Skills:

Washington State Physical Therapy License (unrestricted)

Master's or Doctorate in PT from an accredited program

Understanding of IDEA and best practices in educational therapy

Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience with pediatric/school-based therapy preferred
