Pediatric Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) - Meriden, KS
This full-time, onsite position is ideal for an Autism Specialist with expertise in pediatrics, located in Meriden, KS. The role focuses on providing specialized support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), particularly those without intellectual disabilities, within a school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized support plans for students with ASD
- Address mental health, sensory processing, executive functioning, and socialization challenges
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to enhance student outcomes
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs
- Provide training to staff on best practices for supporting students with ASD
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adults with ASD, including those without intellectual disabilities
- Demonstrated experience with mental health, sensory, executive functioning, and socialization challenges associated with ASD
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
