Behavior Support Specialist – Full-Time | Evans, GA | 2025–2026 School Year
A fantastic school district located in Evans, GA is seeking a full-time Behavior Support Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement and personal growth. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and instruction.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct behavioral support and intervention services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to promote positive behavior and social-emotional development

Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and educational strategies as needed
-
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

Participate in meetings and provide insight into student performance, progress, and needs
-
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
-
Support staff in implementing classroom management techniques and strategies
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (or relevant experience)

Experience working with students with behavioral or developmental needs in school or clinical settings
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, and data collection methods preferred

Georgia certification or licensure in education or behavior support a plus, but not required
