Contract Dates: August 2025 – June 2026 (2025–2026 School Year)
Caseload: Varies based on district assignment
Blazer Jobs is seeking a certified Behavior Support Specialist for a full-time, school-based role in Evans, GA. This position is ideal for a compassionate professional dedicated to supporting the academic and functional needs of students through behavioral interventions.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support and intervention in behavioral and functional areas, tailored to individual student needs

Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement behavioral goals and strategies in accordance with district and IEP requirements

Regularly communicate with parents and team members to exchange updates and support strategies
-
Conduct ongoing assessments of student behavior using formal and informal tools
-
Prepare for and actively participate in ARD/IEP meetings related to student programming and services
Requirements:

Valid Georgia certification as a Behavior Support Specialist or appropriate credential

Experience working in school settings preferred
-
Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies, data collection, and functional behavior assessments
-
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain consistent documentation
