Pediatric ASD Specialist - Tecumseh, Kansas
Seeking an experienced Autism Specialist to support pediatric populations in a school setting located in Tecumseh, KS. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by working directly with children and youth on the autism spectrum, addressing their unique educational and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to address mental health, sensory processing, executive functioning, and socialization challenges
- Provide direct clinical support and interventions designed to enhance social communication and adaptive skills
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies based on student response and evolving needs
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based techniques
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentials preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adults with ASD, including individuals without intellectual disabilities
- Demonstrated expertise in managing challenges related to mental health, sensory integration, executive functioning, and social skills development in ASD
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential for partnership with school personnel and families

- Position based onsite in Tecumseh, KS
