Position Overview

Responsibilities

Conduct hearing screenings and comprehensive audiological evaluations

Interpret test results and provide recommendations for services and accommodations

Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to support student hearing needs

Fit and maintain assistive listening devices (e.g., FM systems)

Provide consultation services to staff regarding auditory access and classroom modifications

Maintain timely and compliant documentation
Requirements

Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology

Active New Mexico Audiologist License (required to begin work)

Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
