School Audiologist
Location: Mar Vista, CA
Job Type: On-Site Only
Schedule: 40 hours per week
About the Role:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Audiologist to join our therapy team. This is a on-site position offering 35-40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities & Focus

Hearing Assessment & Management: Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations (hearing tests) for students referred by staff or parents.

Intervention & Support: Determine the need for and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other amplification/assistive listening devices (e.g., FM systems) to optimize classroom accessibility.

Consultation & Collaboration: Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff (e.g., speech-language pathologists, special education team) regarding the acoustic environment and hearing-related accommodations needed for a student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan.

Screening Programs: Oversee and/or participate in mandated school hearing screening programs.

Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential records of all evaluations, fittings, and follow-up services.
Qualifications

Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology (as required by state licensure).
- Current state licensure/certification as an Audiologist
- Types of certification needed: Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS) Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (LSLS Cert. AVT), LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal Educator (LSLS Cert. AVEd)
