Advance Student Hearing Access: School-Based Audiologist Chesapeake, VA
A school in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a skilled Audiologist to support students with hearing needs across K–12 settings. This full-time onsite role is ideal for an audiology professional who is passionate about improving auditory access, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring students receive the supports they need to thrive in the classroom.

Dates: ASAP – End of School Year
Position Responsibilities:

Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings for K–12 students

Provide auditory management recommendations and collaborate on IEPs
-
Fit, maintain, and troubleshoot assistive listening devices
-
Support teachers and staff in implementing classroom accommodations
-
Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
-
Consult with families, teachers, and DHH specialists as needed
Qualifications:
-
Active Virginia Audiologist license
-
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology
-
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
-
Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills
