Chesapeake School Audiologist – Full-Time Local Contract Opportunity (2025–2026)
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 Contract
Pay Range: $70/hr - $80/hr
Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Audiologist to join our team supporting students in Chesapeake, VA, for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about assessing, diagnosing, and supporting students with hearing-related needs to ensure they can fully access their educational programs.
Position Overview
As an Audiologist, you will conduct evaluations, fit and manage hearing devices, and provide recommendations to support student communication and learning. You will collaborate closely with teachers, speech-language pathologists, families, and IEP teams to ensure individualized hearing goals are met.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for students

Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids, FM/DM systems, and assistive listening devices

Provide training for staff and students on device use and care

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hearing support into educational plans

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with IDEA and Virginia state regulations
Qualifications

Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program

Current Virginia Audiologist license or eligibility

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred

Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
