Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 24/25 School Year
Hours: Full Time
Description: We're currently seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Wilmington, DE for the 24/25 school year. This full-time position offers the potential for Extended School Year (ESY) services. The role involves working with a K-12 high-needs school population, primarily focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The caseload consists of moderate to severe needs. We offer a supportive environment within the school, including contractors who join staff for Professional Development. Please note, candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and this position does not involve virtual therapy due to the high needs on the caseload.
Requirements:
- Open to candidates with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience or interest in working with students with ASD
- Ability to work full-time in an on-site setting
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with moderate to severe needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with school staff and contractors to support student progress
- Attend and participate in Professional Development opportunities
Note: This role offers a great support system within the school, and candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
