Position Overview:
Seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a full school year contract in Independence, Oregon. This role spans K-12, offering comprehensive support and speech therapy services to a diverse range of students. Ideal candidates are committed to improving student communication abilities and academic success within a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Implement and manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
- Provide consultations and advice on speech and language development.
- Participate in professional development to stay updated with the latest in speech therapy practices.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or closely related field.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Oregon.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience in a K-12 school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering engaging and effective interactions.
