ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Concord, MA. As a Contract School SLP, you will play a pivotal role in providing speech and language therapy services to students within the school district. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the communication skills and academic success of children and collaborate with a supportive team of educators and professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language impairments.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings, focusing on improving communication skills, social interaction, and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and home environments.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding student outcomes.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in professional development activities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Massachusetts state license or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy services.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and varying communication needs.
