School Speech-Language Pathologist - Northwest MA

Are you a highly motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a difference in the lives of students in Northwest Massachusetts? Our school district is seeking an enthusiastic SLP to join our team and help empower our students with effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement personalized intervention plans
- Providing individual and group therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Assisting in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and setting appropriate goals
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, as well as communicating with parents and educators about their development
- Staying informed about the latest research and evidence-based practices in the field of speech-language pathology
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligible for certification
- Massachusetts state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to working with students and families
