Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Montgomery, MN
Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Montgomery, MN area. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language needs of students within the educational setting.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Minnesota.
- Completion of a master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and experience working within a school setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address students' communication goals.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Providing direct therapy services and interventions in both individual and group settings.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, and making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
