School Seeking Bilingual Speech Pathologist Assistant - SLPA (Houston, TX)

Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated and bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Houston, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans designed to address students' communication disorders and facilitate their academic success.
- Conduct assessments and assist with the development of appropriate goals and objectives for therapy.
- Collaborate with educational professionals, parents, and caregivers to ensure coordinated support for students' speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
