School Remote Speech Language Pathologist in Alaska

We are currently interviewing for a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a remote capacity at a school district in Alaska. Requirements:
- Alaska state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Alaska Teaching Certification
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA CCC's
- At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Familiarity with telepractice tools and platforms is desirable but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific goals and objectives.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders via telepractice.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to student support.
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all services rendered.
