Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Campbell, CA. As a Contract School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students within the school district. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide targeted interventions and support services.
- Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, devise intervention strategies, and offer recommendations for academic and behavioral support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessment results, progress reports, and intervention plans in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay abreast of current best practices in the field of school psychology and engage in ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
- Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting is preferred.
- Proficient in conducting assessments and interpreting standardized assessment tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and foster inclusive environments.
