Role Overview:
As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you'll play a pivotal part in aiding students to conquer speech and language challenges that could hinder their academic and social advancement.
Your duties encompass:
- Thoroughly assessing students to pinpoint speech and language disorders.
- Devising and executing personalized treatment strategies tailored to individual student needs and aspirations.
- Offering direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in group settings.
- Collaborating harmoniously with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure a unified approach to student development.
- Documenting and tracking student progress, while flexibly adjusting intervention tactics as required.
- Engaging actively in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings, contributing vital insights to aid in goal setting and adaptations.

Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Delaware.
- Favorable consideration for holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Past involvement in a school-based environment or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Effective communication and interpersonal aptitude to collaboratively engage with students, parents, and educational staff.
