Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the remainder of the school year (likely to renew for the next school year) in Piedmont, CA. This is a unique opportunity to provide speech and language services to students in a virtual setting while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and therapists.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans and goals.
- Provide speech therapy sessions to students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech and language development.
- Monitor and document student progress through data collection and analysis.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to IEP goal development.
- Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and other team members.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- California state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in special education.
