Description:
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and a commitment to promoting effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Maryland state license and ASHA certification.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
