Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language capabilities.
- Develop customized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs to address communication challenges and support educational objectives.
- Deliver direct therapy services targeting various aspects of speech and language development, including articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to seamlessly integrate therapy goals into the academic curriculum.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, progress notes, and intervention outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Hold state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Maintain a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
