Position Overview:
Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Gainesville, GA. This is an excellent opportunity to positively impact students' lives by providing essential speech and language services to support their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and other environments.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Georgia state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- At least one year of recent experience working as an SLP, preferably in a school-based setting.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in speech-language pathology in educational settings.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
