Position Overview:
Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Fayetteville, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing them with the necessary speech and language services to support their academic and personal success.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills in the classroom and other settings.
- Monitor and document students' progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- North Carolina state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- At least one year of recent experience working as an SLP in a school-based setting.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in speech-language pathology in educational settings.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
