School-based Speech-language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY), Des Plaines IL
Calling on SLPs (Clinical fellows too!) in the area of Des Plaines, IL! A Soliant partner is interviewing applicants now to assist with coverage of two extended leave positions that will likely cover close to remainder of the school year.
Details of the position below:
- Full-time (35 hours per week)
- School's hours are 8:20 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
- Work with elementary school students
- Applicants with IEP and schools experience preferred
As a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, applicants will be responsible for:
- Assessing students and providing feedback as a member of an evaluation team.
- Planning therapy activities to promote communication interaction objectives.
- Designing a therapy plan in accordance with developmental levels of students and their functional skills.
We seek applicants who have a great demeanor, and who communicate well with the students in their care, and with their co-workers.
Education and license requirements:
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP license in the state of Illinois
- Professional Educator's License
