School Based Speech Language Pathologist- REMOTE (Licensed in California)

Summary: Seeking a Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide teletherapy services to school-aged children. Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders remotely. Collaborate with educators and parents for student success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and students' needs.
- Provide direct therapy services via teletherapy platforms to address speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home environment.
- Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student records.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
- Stay current on best practices, research, and trends in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive therapy experience.
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing boards.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- California CCC-SLP from ASHA
- State licensure or eligibility.
- Experience with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and communication.
- Comfortable with teletherapy technology.
- Reliable internet and workspace.
