Calling on Florida-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) seeking an opportunity to work in a school setting!
Soliant is working with a several schools in Okeechobee, FL, and is seeking 3 contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistants for the upcoming school year.
Perks of working with a school:
- Shorter work day: hours vary from 7:30 AM to 3 PM, or 8 AM to 3:30 PM. Get away from the 9 to 5, or 10 to 6 schedule!
- Shorter work year: a full school year is 180 to 185 days—switch to part-time work in the summer, or no work at all!
- Flat rate billing structure for each work day: you are guaranteed your contracted hours if it is a full work day—freedom from the instability of client no-shows!
Several openings are available at this time: administrators will make reasonable efforts to ensure that caseload assignments align with a candidate’s clinical skills.
Scope of duties:
- Under supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist, provide direct therapy to students
- Document student progress and provide administrative support to Speech Pathologists
- SLPAs may also be called upon to provide classroom support, or to facilitate the provision of online speech services

- Have some experience with speech therapy in a school setting
- Are flexible and adaptable
- Professional and accountable
- Bring excellent communication skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Florida SLPA license
