Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in Kentucky
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Previous experience working in educational settings preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
- Providing direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Monitoring students' progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other team meetings as required
