Blazer Jobs is actively seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions within school districts in the Hillsboro, OR area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who meet all local and state requirements to join our team.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure/certification as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational regulations
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
- Monitoring and documenting students' progress
- Participating in team meetings and school-based initiatives
