Soliant is working with a school district in Santa Barbara, CA, and is seeking a travel contractor for either a semester long assignment, or a full school year.
How does one qualify as a traveler?
- Will you be arranging temporary housing during the school year?
- Will you be relocating from one state to another?
- Will you be commuting 75+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for housing and/or meals and incidentals stipends!
Details of assignment:
- 18 weeks for a semester-long position
- OR 36-37 weeks for a full school year
- Reimbursements available for relocation, licensure, and any credentialing costs
As a schools-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Evaluate new referrals on their communication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
- Develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and make recommendations for speech services
- Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis, and updating IEP goals if needed
- Conduct meetings and complete reports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
- Document services service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data

- Excellent communication skills
- Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
- Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- SLP license from the California Board of Speech and Hearing
