Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our remote team. As a remote School Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in virtual learning environments. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students while enjoying the flexibility of working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities using virtual assessment tools.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using video conferencing platforms.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy goals and strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Arizona license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a speech therapy setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable using technology and virtual platforms for therapy sessions and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
