Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a virtual School-Based Speech Language Pathologist. As an independent contractor, you will provide speech therapy services to K-12 students in an Illinois school district through our secure online platform. This is a flexible opportunity that allows you to work remotely from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students through live video conferencing sessions.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a computer with video conferencing capabilities.
- Must pass a VocoVision technical screening (showing knowledge of the platform Zoom)
