Remote Speech Language Pathologist Contract Job in California

Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Full time
- Caseload: 25 - 27 students
- Experience with moderate to severe Autism, AAC devices, and intense behavior needs
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
State-Specific Requirements:
- Familiarity with California Department of Education guidelines and regulations
- Understanding of California's special education laws and procedures
