Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Position Available in Algonquin, IL
We are currently looking for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Algonquin, Illinois. This role is perfect for a professional seeking flexibility while having a significant impact on students' lives by helping them overcome communication challenges in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to foster a supportive environment for student learning and therapy.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide insights and recommendations during IEP meetings to integrate speech therapy goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Illinois SLP license or CFY status.
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
