Part-Time School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Opportunity in North Highlands, Ca
North Highlands, CA
Location: North Highlands, California
Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' communication needs
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals to address speech and language disorders
- Support students in both individual and group settings with direct therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate students' academic and social success
- Assist in monitoring progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or related field
- Valid California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
