Title: Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for K-12 in Pennsylvania
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a part-time basis. This position encompasses providing services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a focus on delivering makeup work and support for both Extended School Year (ESY) and Non-School Year (NSY) programs. This is a contract position with further details to be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment interventions.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other relevant gatherings as required.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as an SLP in Pennsylvania.
- Active state clearances required for working with students in educational settings.
- Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
