Olympia, WA: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to work with older students. Soliant has partnered with a school district near Olympia and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to help finish out the current school year.
Applicants will be working with a caseload of K-12 kids, although most students are older, and are in self-contained/resource classrooms. Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Washington Speech-Language Pathology License
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
